Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge arrived last April and now rumours are building in anticipation for the next release. Expected to be released on the 22nd February at Mobile World Congress it is likely that a Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be announced, although some are reporting that S7 Plus and S7 Edge Plus will also be announced (Forbes).
In terms of the display it’s expected that Samsung will maintain the same look, but will introduce a rectangular shaped home button (Phone Arena). More rumours suggest some new design features, including Clear Force, similar to Apple’s 3D Touch, which will allow Samsung to add control options to display using pressure sensor technology, as well as a fingerprint sensor and iris scanner (Expert Reviews). Interestingly, it has been suggested that the new device could be waterproof, dustproof and also bring the return of expandable storage (Forbes).
Whilst rumours accumulate we will have to wait and see what Samsung has in store for its next generation phones.

Initial reports suggested that it was going to be called the iPhone 6c, iPhone 7c or iPhone 5e however it is now thought to be called the iPhone 5se, thought to stand for ‘special edition’ (9 to 5 MAC).
HTC One M10
The next HTC device is thought to be the One M10, codenamed HTC Perfume and is also expected to be released in March. Rumours suggest that the One M10 will be water resistant (IP68) which would be an upgrade from the splash resistant M9 and M8 (Phone Arena).
